Any suggestions on the best brand to get? and where from?

i got the ones from american muscle.. the first pair worked fine for a few days then broke.. called AM and told them. they sent a new pair free i installed them and haven't had a problem with them since. I like them..

thats where i bought mine from for my 04, it worked great. But one side had a short so it was a little jacked afterward. AM is a good deal

aww i was too late. There is a newer style sequential called the chaser tail light. Rather than it flashing toward where you want to turn and staying lit until they all light up, this one keeps going one by one like a billboard sign. Here is the link for the Chaser with a demo of how it looks. It shows how factory, sequential, and chaser lights look next to eachother. It actually allows you to choose at any time to have either the Chaser or Sequential light show

I wonder if there is a way to hook this up to a switch so you can actually change how it looks from inside the car. I might get this kit if its a possiblity.

yea you can by changing the jumper, maybe theres a way to wire this into the car...hmmm.

Oh, and when you break those little Christmas-tree plugs removing the trunk shroud, you can pick them up at Autozone/Pepboys for a couple dollars.
