Stripe Opinion

I have an 04 silver metallic v6. I am gonna get a single lemans stripe (main stripe with pin on each side) as wide as the top of grill done from front to back. The question I have is which color would look best?

Flat black would look good. But, I may be biased.

I don't think stripes look good on silver cars, but if you're set on stripes, I would go with black.

Its not that I'm set on stripes there are just a million and a half other silver mustang identical to mine that I see all the time in cincy. I want something that will set it off at a glance and I am disgusted by the lack of decent looking visual options for new edge (if I would have known this I would have bought the silver 05 v6 parked next to it for 2k more), but i like the new edge body style a lot so I'm looking into stripes at the moment.

Do a flat black stripe that goes into the hood scoop. The full length stripes look bad...

Instead of creating yet another stripe thread I'll just post in this thread:

I plan on getting a black stripe painted (not vinyl!) on my 08 torch red GT. Attached is a picture of what I want done (solid center stripe, bumper-to-bumper with two pin stripes on either side).

Can anyone identify what the dimensions are for these? It appears that the center stripe will fit in between the two washer nozzles and the thin pin stripes on the other side but I can't tell for sure.

im in the same boat with you guys i want somthin to make the car stand out a bit... but at the same time every one does stripes

what i decided to do is a corvette inspired GS stripe on the fender.... or a saleen stripe since he started doin it (just another option to think about)

i havnt done it yet but im sure it would come out pretty good

+1 for blue on silver

Our opinions differ greatly here haha. Mach1 Grill Delete, Mach1 Chin Spolier, Cobra front bumper, Smoked Head/Tail lights, numerous rim options, Spoliers (or black spoiler), just to name a few.

There are a ton of decent looking visual upgrades for the New Edge. Theres no lack at all.

As for the stripes, I would say no... I have never been a fan of stripes and deff not single stripes. If you want to set your car off by a glance there are much better ways to do it. Some Mustangs come from the factory striped (05+) so I don't see how that would set you off to much. I see striped Mustangs here in MS every day.

I would reccomend some Black rims w/polished lips, smoked/chromed headlights, chin spoiler, and other various small trim work to set your car apart.
