first off, what mustang are you running? 315's are freaking wide. you got to make sure you have the suspension to handle that. other wise, its going to screw your handling all up. what mustang do you have? do you have stock suspension? Also, they dont make a p255 35 17, the only 255 35R combos come on 20inch rims. If you increased to profile a tad on the front you could get economy performance tires for like 150 a piece. the size for them are 225 40 r 17. still not bad at all

i did not have to remove my quad shocks. i do not know if it slowed me down because i never been to the track. but with a DR tire on the rear it hooks big time. they are heavier but the extra traction makes up for it.

i have the 17*10.5's out back, don't do it they aren't worth the money and drag radials wear out fast and cost like gold

you are better off getting 17*9's all around and when you need traction keep some 15*8 welds with slicks or drag radials around

will be much cheaper than replacing 17 inch drag radials all the time, better wet traction on the street, and the 15*8's with big dr/slicks will hook way better than 17 inch drag radial anyway

the idea of changing out me 17" wheels for a set of 15" everytime i want to hook will get old. if you drive alot run the nittos. if the stang is just a toy, run the bfg tires. my 1st set of nittos ran for a summer and a half. i ran my bfg tires last summer and still have half the life left in them.
