Convertible Tint Removal

So last month i got a ticket for my tinted windows being to dark, they registered 1% on the cops lil device so i have to take it off by July 21st,ive taken tint off before just to get the ticket dropped and then ill go the same day and have it retinted but i was wondering if it will hurt my back window when i use a razor to peel it off since its not made of glass like the coupes window is???

hmmmm, does it still have the defroster in it? If so, the def. Just peel the tint off and use a good areosol (sp) glass clean and a shop rag. Let the glass cleaner sit on there for like a min and then wipe it off. It should make the glue slimey.

You could put this in the clubhouse for more people to see.

Just park the car in the shadow put cold water behind the rear window try peeling it from a corner and carefully with your hands start removing it, It will leave sticky glue but you can get rid of that with gas..... No need to use a razor.

if it has the defroster in it you can start to peel it an spray simple green on it or tar remover and let it sit maybe 5mins an get a rag and rub it off.its gonna take a lil elbow grease bud it works.hada do the same thing for the same reason on my 89 5.0 an a 96 accord i had.
