New Edge Grille


I have a Black 2002 mustang gt. What kind of grille should i get? Opinions... i really like the mach 1 delete, but i've seen some billets and i'm liking those too...

What do you guys think about this? Grille delete with black billets on the lower part.

Im biased but i like the delete the best.

Here is mine, delete kit with no pony and the radiator painted flat black, and i have an aluminum wire mesh on my lower openings

I say Grill delete...

Travis, where did you get the wire mesh? I have a Cobra bumper coming in and I was thinking about getting some, painting it black, and putting it on the bottom opening.

How did you attach it?

I havent had a problem with bugs messing it up, but i mostly drive in town though.



As for the mesh it was on there when i got my car, and ill check it out later for you and tell you how its attached.

Yeah, thats just how i was getting.. i've just seen a few around here that kinda looked good, but the more i look at them. They just look too "ghetto". I'm going to get the grill delete tomorrow and gettin a chin spoiler sometime... im thinking about gettn it painted gloss black to match my car but idk yet. :/

I think it would look good both ways. I've heard that the people that paint them have problems with chipping etc. so I wouldn't mess with it.

Yeah thats true... i didnt think about that. I guess i can always get it painted down the road if i wanted, i was gonna put it on first... and i know it'll look good regardless.

Leave it as is. For one, your car is black and so is the Chin Spoiler. Keep it coated with some Vinyl protectant like Adam's V.R.T. and it will be a glossy black.

Its vinyl that is inchs from the road and vibrates alot... it will crack and chip really bad over time making it look like crap.
