08 GT500 Cervinis Cowl hood

I am looking at doing a whipple blower and rather than do the engine lowering kit I want to do a cowl hood. I love the look of the Cervinis hood but I have a few questions. I want to do a custom suicide hinge setup, are there any latches that will work? Will this hood hold up if it opens that way? I want to have a Cobra painted on the hood sort of like a mural which is the reason for opening it suicide style

Now that would be custom. Being fiberglass, I'd say it would be possible to get the hood to suicide, even if you had to reinforce the front of the hood where it hinges. For hinges and latches, you could probably get some custom hot rod that might work.

I think the only hood it would look right on is the cowl to be honest though, anything else I think just doesn't fit the bid. I am going to talk to one of my body guys and see what he says
