Rocker Stripes

Okay, so here's the deal, I have a Vista Blue 2006 Convertible. What color rocker stripes should I get, I have light gray interior. So I want silver/gray. So can you guys help me out with finding where I can buy them.

I love AmericanMuscle, but I don't like the stripes tehy have, I like the newer stripe kits, like this:

Mustang Decals @ DansDecals.com - Mustang Decals, Mustang Rocker Panel Stripes, Ford Mustang Decal Race Stripes, Mustang Pony Race Decals

But I wanna buy off of a Mustang site, because those are more custom, I want specific Mustang ones. So can someone try and link me some good ones, that aren't liek 200 bucks, cause I've seen em from $20-$200.

And anyone know how much it'll cost if I take it to an autobody shop and have them install it?

And if those are official Mustang decals, on that above site, what color do I get for my Vista Blue car...Silver, Dark Gray, or Light Gray...I'm thinking Silver.

I also have a Vista Blue S197 and silver looks great on them.

However i'm not to keen on side stripes, but to each his own.

Bob White Stripes and decals. Ford Licensed and Official Steeda Autosports Supplier

Little more than halfway down they have the side stripes. But they are pricey too. Not sure where else would have a good selection

do the strips yourself...not to hard at all just takes patience and you can use the money you would spend at a shop for a burger...and i reccomend silver...pm a pic of your car for me and ill photoshop different color combos for you to look over if you'd like

Nah, thanks though, Silver is what I wanted, but I still gotta try and find the kind I'm lookign for.

For what it's worth.....the rocker stripes are pretty easy to install. The trick is to use a clean spray bottle with a drop of dishwashing soap. Spray the car and the backside of the decal (once you remove the backing of course). With someone helping you place it generally where you want it. The soapy water lets you move it where you want it. Use a bondo squeege or credit card to smooth out the bubbles and remove the excess water. A squirt of water on the top helps the squeege slide without tearing the vinyl.

Go right over the door and then use a new razor blade to trim the stripes back for clearance. Hope this helps.

Nah, I didn't liek the AM stripes, I like the newer stripes they put on the S197 stangs out of the factory. The spaced out letters that spell "Mustang"

Try to find the style you like with measurements, and take it to a Decal company. Someone that does the 3M Vinyl. I can get a custom set made, whatever I want it to say or how I want it to look for $100 iinstalled. There has to be graphic shop where you live.

Just do it yourself! Its not hard! It will take you less than 10 minutes if you do it right.

yes those are nice...but i really don't care to see those on cars that are not SALEENS...

Agree, to get a custom stripe if you must. However let me warn you, do not even wax these things....a friend bought a used Stang and that decal was on it, totally incrusted with white wax remnants....a bitch and it cannoy be cleaned up...so it'll have to be removed.

Not a fan of them either-but silver is great on Vista Blue. Good luck
