Painting wheel wells.


Has any one had any experience with painting wheel wells?

why the hell would you paint your wheel wells????lol. the paint will just come right off. That material in the wheel wells will not hold paint very good and all the shit your tires kick up off of the road will just chip it all off.

actually i have painted wheel wells before & i have never had problems...

but, here's a trick i learned when i worked at an autobell carwash..

get some of that black magic spray on tire wet (not the foaming kind) & just lay a lot of that spray on the inside of your wheel wells.. just make sure to spray em down with a pressure washer & let dry a little bit first..

i do it on all my cars & it looks really, really good!

That’s what I do now. Forget the name of the stuff but it come in black can with green lettering not shiny just a nice flat black.

Why not? I think that would be a nice touch when at an auto show or meet.

i have never painted mine on my car but we sprayed my dads truck wheel wells with undercoating spray , it held very good and looked good too , just gotta make sure u tape everything off real well because u dont wanna mess up that pretty paint
