Anyone seen this LED tape?

You can buy something similiar at Walmart.

I wouldnt put it on the dash, but for floor accents for extra light or just for looks, sure.

here was my monte carlo (pre - dvd touch screen). the lights were under the dash on the floor and under the seats. Did it look cool? hell yea. I just dont know how nice it would look with one random switch in the open for them.

i have the ambient lighting offered by ford in my car as well. dark blue to match my dashboard

go for it if you really want to.

You could always just wire it in to your headlight switch so it comes on whenever you turn on your headlights.

true, but, at times depending on your headlights, the interior lights do make it very hard to see when its getting near dark. I had a lot of problems at like 6:30 or so at night if it had been raining. everythings really dark, yet still enough light were my headlights didnt do much. interior lights made it a biatch to see.

It would still work off your factory dimmer if you used LEDs.
