Tire Size?


heyy, ive been reading so many things on what tire will fit my stock 00 GT rims but im still really confused as to what sizes i can fit on that rim. if you know what sizes i can run that would be great.

yeaaa, im running the 245/45's now but is there anything else i can run..i heard I can put 255's out there on those rims but would any other tire size fit on those things too?

hmm... 255s might work. I wouldn't go any higher. It all depends on the width of the rim. 17x8 17x9 ect. I think the stock is 17x8. I know on 17x9 I have a 275s.

yeaaa, i would get 17x10.5 in the rear to put 315's on it but i dont have the money right now..i was just looking to see about the 255 cuz i might throw a pair of 255 dr's i found online to go to the track with until i come up with the money for a set of rims.

255 will fit the stock rim. I've heard that you can fit 275s w/ a slight buldge. I will personally stick w/ 245s until I get new rims but that's what I've read before.

i heard that too, thats why i put this post up lol...when i go on discounttire.com and put my vehicle info in it says that i can put 274/40/17 on the stock rim which i just stared at and thought that cant be right.

dont run a 275 on a stock rim, ideally 245, you can run a 255, but for the price difference your beter off with a 245
