if you get a new paintjob, does that mean you have to get a clearcoat too?

you will want the clearcoat.. it protects the paint and makes it look much better

clearcoat/basecoat is the best paint system..

a good job will run you anywhere from 800 up depending on the body work you need accomplished.... paint & bodywork can get out of hand quick... but going back to black is usually cheaper that going to any other color. black is always a cheaper color to buy when it comes to paint.. plus it's also a good idea to do all your own prep work as well... it will save you a lot of money....

plus since you are going back to the factory color of black you dont have to paint door jams which will also save you money!
