New Seats

I recently bought a 95 Convertible. I've done some work on it to make it better than the condition that I got it, and I want to replace the worn seats. I looked at some new ones but I know that I can replace that fabric on them for much cheaper. Anyone know how I can do this. I was hoping I could find some sort of pattern for the seats, but I can't seem to find anything.

I know it's doable, you should be able to find good information if you search for "recovering seats". You can buy the new covers, or if you're crafty, you could use the old seat fabric to make a pattern. You'll definitely want to invest in a set of hog ring pliers.

It becomes a little bit of a pain to seach for "seat cover", because the usual usage of that term is for the covers that go over the seat, not the "skin" of the seat itself.

Ive seen seats on eBay, 2 for $300 + $100 S&H. Ive been thinking able removing the stock seats in my 00 couple and going to a regular seat, I cannot stand power seats.

Have you priced out the fabric and how much is you time worth and do you think you could possibly do it yourself?
