Painted Calipers

So my front left caliper was bad, got new ones from Ford (no not the cobra ones, no money for that), and got the Dupli-Color caliper paint kit. Took me a few hours, 4 coats of paint each, but I got the front calipers done and one the car. They look soo much nicer now.

I just need to get the rear calipers done.

I'll post some pics of the calipers on the car later when the sun is out.

lol. I was looking at them before, the paint was cheaper. I went with the brush kit. I think it's better the a spray can.

I used the spray. went on nice and easy. Smooth finish. On my 3000gt I used the brush and had brush marks. was not to impressed. I think the Spray is easier to use.

When I do the rear calipers, I am going to paint the caliper brackets black so that they match the fronts. I hope I can have it all done by the weekend.

i used the brush on caliper paint kit by duplicolor and it worked amazing. i am just mad cuz i had them all done amazing and then i had two front calipers go out on me. so i put the new ones on and could not paint them because i needed my car asap. so now i have to wait till summer.

Thats sucks. Yea the brush kit is great. I am just hoping that the rear calipers don't have a problem when I take them off. If they do, then I am going to have to work out a deal with getting new rear calipers from the rents.

Do I really need to worry about heat with the caliper brackets or will reg black pray paint work fine?

I still need to paint the rear ones. I just need to get the black paint for the bracket, and the rear caliper tool. Haven't had any more to use for gas, so I got to wait a little.
