I would do spray paint but flat black spraypaint likes to make lines and it fades alot faster than real car paint.

Wow return it when you get it! It fucking sucks. I bought the roush black out for below the mustang letters and the trunck vinyl. All i can say is thank god it wasnt more than 30 bucks. I would rather have threw 30 bucks out the window then those guys make 30 bucks off me. The viynl is thick as a sheet of wax paper it tears so fucking easy and scratches if you blow on it. The adhesive doesnt stick worth a shit and im just pissed i bought it.

Mind you ive worked 5 years in a body shop and have put on hundreds of decals and this kit is by far the biggest pos ive ever delt with.

The roush blackout doesnt look to bad and is easy to put on but im waiting for a good gust of wind to peel it off. I wasted a brand new kit when i could have just put 30 bucks towards painting the son of a bitch. I learned my leason and i hope you dont buy this kit.

Just pay to paint it or use a rattle can like 6er did.

So yours sucked huh?
I haven't received mine yet (south FL, so today or tomorrow I expect it). Only spent $20 with shipping, so if it sux,,,oh swell. If it looks good, but still sux,,,I'll have it painted and chalk the $20 up to 'testing'. I'm just doing the little part below the mustang letters.

I just got done painting mine gloss black. Mine took a long time (3-4hrs) since I did 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of color, and 3 coats of clear with each coat bein sanded before the next.

Came out very glossy... I plan to add another coat or two of clear later. Painted with a rattle can is not bad as long as you take your time and do it right.

If you put to many coats of clear on it, it can fuck up the clear coat all together and you'll have to do it all over again. Id leave it alone if it looks good already
