Lesson: Do not try to take turns on a busy street at 50 mph in a car when you are not used to the power yet.

PS - Do you have a clip of your exhaust? You have SLP LM right?
damn, thats shitty!! my brother had an 86 firebird that had a 400 small block that was pretty quick but he sold it for a turbo coupe...

i actually don't have the SLP's, i have dynomax race bullets & gutted cats... there is a kid i work with that wants my car bad so if i sell it to him i'll buy another & if i dont sell it to him i'll most likely be putting the SLP's on her...

unless you live in the middle of no where your reseption should be ok.
I cut both of my gt's down to 7" and I have never had a problem, the only thing that should be longer than 8" should be your third leg....lol.....
use a cutting wheel and cut it off....the antenna that is.....

I'm actually not a big fan of the SLP LM. I have yet to hear one that sounds good a high RPMs, but I always see you promoting them so I thought you had them. SLP LM 2s aren't bad though. They sound much better.

my buddy had a mach1 with o/r x-pipe & it sounded really wicked at all RPMS especially WOT.. ever since then, i've been a believer in their LM's!! i just didn't have the cash to pay for the system when i wanted some sound!

Right now it's still stock, which on the Bullitt sounds pretty good. The bullitt came with a high flow exhaust stock, but I have a Basanni X and magnapacks sitting in my dining room waiting for spring.

Yeah my friend has them on his '00 GT. I fell in love with that sound the day he came to my house and I heard him two blocks away. LOL

I dont no why I'm telling you all this because it sounds so personal but mine is short too-LOL

Just kidding but seriously I have the 8" and think I get better reception than when it was whipping around in the wind like a CB antenna
