I want to get either

a pair of rims 2 17x9 and 2 17x10.5 which w/ tires will be about $800 so i could save up and only get those and be set for a while OR

I could get a mach1 chin spoiler $80 AND a mach 1 grill delete $45 AND fog lights $150 AND a new car alarm with remote start $300

both sound so pleasing.. ill end up getting both but which is the better to get first.. i am thinking to wait on rims since the tires on my car right now only have about 5,000 miles on them

no the rims alone that iam lookin at are 430.. the performance tires i want made it come out to about 800

yeah lol i thought about it and i live in a fairly rough area.. not my neighborhood but the neighborhoods around here.. the last thing i want is to get my rims jacked =( ill go with alarm before anything too expensive

the rims just make me mad cuz they are expensive and then on top of that the tires are just as expensive lol... i guess ill work a alarm in and then see about getting rims n stuff the only thing about the rims is right when i get the rims on i am gonna save up to drop it =) gotta make the rims look good

ok this is what i would do, get the grill chin spoiler and rims, wait till your tires go bad and buy ones for the rims you already bought, get a tuner instead of a car alarm imo.

I am getting black Cobra R style rims.. 17x9 in front 17x10.5 in back..

i think the fat tires in back make mustangs look sick from behind

Have you checked ebay for your rims? There are some sweet deals on there. Americanmuscle.com has some pretty good prices too. I have all the mods you mentioned and the thing that is most noticeable are the rims. On a red car I would definitly get chrome, but I just like all eyes on me. The other mods do make a difference but the only people that will notice them not being stock are other Mustang owners. Everybody notices sweet rims. If you are worried about abouth theft of your newly purchased wheels, as someone said above, get locking lug nuts. I got mine off ebay for like $16. Just be careful where you hide the Hex key. You defeat the purpose if you hide it in an obvious spot. I put mine under the spare tire in the trunk before I tighten it down with that screw thing they have in the trunk. No thief has time to look under there, plus it is covered by my wash/dry rags and my wax kit.
