Repair Questions

I am trying to fix up my 99 Mustang GT, and I want to do some work on the interior. A while back, my car was slammed in the rear by another car, and since then my trunk area has been making small grinding noises/popping noises whenever I accelerate or hit bumps. I don't know how other mustangs drive, whether they all make lots of road noise and popping sounds. I would like to get my car driving smoothly and quietly again, so I was hoping some of you mighty have some suggestions on getting my car back into good shape? The problem may be the suspension making the noise, maybe around my tires, or it might be that my trunk is not aligned correctly from when I got hit. I would like to figure out what I need to do to get the trunk back aligned properly. My trunk does not latch down as tight as it should I don't think. Overall my car drives decent now, but I still feel that the car can be in better shape. I have roughly 65k miles on the car, and I don't drive it too hard. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I plan on doing some major upgrades on my car, but I want to be sure the car is driving well before I do anything.

How long ago was the accident? I would call my insurance company and tell them and take it back to the garage that originally fixed it and have them look at it again. My car was hit by a 18 wheeler in the front wheel like 4 months ago. After I picked it up it pulled to the right. I notified my insurance company and they called the garage and told them I was bringing it back. I picked it up again and they never painted a side scoop. The rest of that side of the car looked brand new but the side scoop looked like it did before I brought it in. Left it there and they fixed that too. You pay insurance to use it when you need it. Get your money's worth.

Insurance won't cover the accident anymore, it happened quite a while back. I've taken it to get repairs about 3 times since the accident, and I'm slowly but surely getting the car back to its former self. The trunk isn't latching quite low enough I don't think, because I can push the trunk up and down a little when it's closed. I think that can be adjusted, so I'm going to figure it out later today. As far as interior noise goes, its like there's something loose inside my car that makes noise when I start accelerating or hit bumps. I'm trying to find the source of the noise but it's very difficult.
