look online for hoods, $300-$400 wont be enough cause you'll have to paint it
unless you find one on ebay

For $300 you would be better off getting the hood repainted unless you have some seriously deep dents.

nobody said anything about the install....

5 bolts.

2 on each side

one for a ground.

BE CAREFUL taking the bolts off they are only held by the fiberglass at the top of the hood.

carbon fiber and fiberglass are two totally different things.

this is a fiberglass hood

carbon fiber is expensive and if painted over it doesnt turn out right

carbon fiber hoods can be painted to match the rest of the car, therefore you cant tell the difference. he may have been talking about that.

to paint carbon fiber you have to hand sand it and make sure you dont hit the actual CF. its much more of a hassle then its worth. just get a fiber glass hood.

why do summa yuns consider c/f parts as rice... i dont understand. every bit of weight shed helps. and c/f is light. so its a good hood. and they look ok anyways from the pictures i've seen, they're just a shiny black in almost every pic.

and if anyone has a 94-98 hood with like a 4-5 inch cowl in Rio Red i'll buy it if at right price.

IMO mean In My Opinion... i dont necessarily consider c/f as "rice" but it doesnt really look good on a stang unless the stang is black IMO
