And for the people who were sayin the cheaper kits dont hold up i can assure you its quite strong. the hinges weigh 20lbs each and the gas struts after a hella nasty winter are still holdin up strong. Its also direct bolt on, not welded on.

Those look just like the ones i bought. i wouldnt recommend buying these however unless you purchase struts since this set is used. Its only like $50 for new gas struts
But weren't talking about a kit like yours. There are kits that are just like the one you put a link to, but have no gas struts at all, just the hinge. That is what we are talking about

97TunedMustang, how hard is it to open and close the doors and get in/out of the vehicle with the vertical doors?

if the doors have the hydraulics or whatever it is that makes them go up easy, then they are a piece of cake and they're great, but if you have only the hinges, they're a pain in the ass to lift and get in and out without hurting yourself, lol. So as long as you have the automatic ones they make it nice and easy to get in and out.

The show stopper kit is the best. It comes with door poppers so all you have to do is push the button and the door pops open and lifts for you. Always a big hit at car shows, especially with shaved door handles.

Its really easy to get in/out whether you open them normally or open them vertically. Im not sure what you mean about the kits without the gas struts and just the hinge. There is no way you would even be able to use the doors without the gas struts. The doors weigh a ****amn ton and it would be beyond impractical to have to lift them and hold them up without a gas shock.

I know they exsist, I used to sell them on ebay and in my online store. They were made by MimoUsa. They are bolt on hinges that come with no gas struts. Yes the door is heavy as hell and that's what we are saying. These are them.

Well those hinges in that link do come with gas struts so... and if someone did sell a kit without the gas struts that would be beyond retarded.
