new paint job

I just got my car back from the shop. I was wondering how long do I wait before washing it. There is salt all over from towing it home.

Im guessing it would be safe to wash it now if they said the paint is fully cured. They should have told u all that. In case u dont know, make sure to get as much of the salt off with your hose before you start washin the car. just a precaution to be on the safe side

I would only do a brushless power wash until I was sure all the abrasive salt was off the car and if you are south and there is no salt you can wash the car the next day just dont scrub it...in fact you have to keep in clean at this crucial stage of the paint because bird crap will stain new paint very easily. The people that painted your car washed it before they gave it back to you. just wait a few months before waxing

wash it!!! it will be fine...... just DO NOT WAX!!!!

you need to keep it nice & clean when the paint is still setting up & fully drying.... just dont wax for at least a month!

Wash it with some Klasse alli in one for now with a soft cloth or a soft bristle brush. Don't use anything even slightly abrassive. After a month wash it, glaze it and wax it with carnauba wax. It will improve your shine, give you a good protective coat and make it look even better than it does now.
