About light tints and side markers

When buying tail light tint places were selling tints for the rear bumper markers on the 99-04s for about 15 or 20 bucks seeing this is robbery after paying 30 for taillights I decided 5 min ago to use a sharpee and if that fails then get tint to cut myself and apply over....but after the sharpee honestly you cant tell the difference on wether it was tinted like my taillights or it was a marker....even from 2feet away u cant even tell....looks better as well....15-20 dollars for 2 thin strips plus the wait of shipping or 5 min with a marker and the results are almost identical unless ur 8inches away eye level....is fine by me

Does it still reflect though. Seems like it would reflect a funny away. If it all works though thats pretty neat.

i figure why pay 10 bucks each side....a marker and a few minutes is just as good ...i did pay for the tail light pieces on Ebay along with the Flat black Vinyl insert in the middle between the lights...

did you do it on your headlights too?? how would headlights being fogged up affect the look of them being tinted or light or whatever..?

Ok il say again I bought the Tail Light tint pieces and who mentioned anything about headlights ? or being fogged up.........I used a sharpee on the reflectors on the rear bumper...if it looked bad using the marker the tint would black it out regardless of the marker on it so you couldnt tell....basically the tint was just in case the marker didnt look good....since I didnt wanna pay 20$'s for 2 tiny pieces of tint i used a marker....if it didnt look good i would have put tint over it to cover it up regardless clear ?

i thought u said u used it on the tail lights.. i brought up head lights, i brought up fogged lights, i asked the questions because i wanted to know i figured that it was referring to tints so i figured id ask my questions about tints in hopes of a response but maybe not

if you have crusty headlights go to autozone and get this 10 minute headlight stuff works wonders.
