Smoked taillights

anybody have them? how visible are they during the day/night?

Tons of people have them, i am one of those people. It all depends on how dark of a tint you go, Unless you spray paint them black, they will always be visible at night

I wouldnt wast my money on them, i would just get a $10 can of VHT and do your own

mine are one coat of gloss black spray paint and they are dark but u can still the lights in the day and night.

I can try to get some pics later. I have mine tinted with VHT. To me they are as visible as a lot of these new cars coming with the euro style taillights during the day. At night, they are bright.

The only thing that sucks is if you get a d*** head cop he will give no reflectors ticket.

Does anyone know if the smoked headlight covers from AM reduce the light a fair bit? And are they even worth getting? I am torn between the smoked headlight look or perhaps the headlight splitters look.

anything smoked will reduce the light coming out. i have smoked headlights (not covers) and at night they are not very bright

Unless you use VHT and tint them like mine are tinted. Mine are 100% legal in Indiana.

i run smoked tails...will show bright day or night...and no problems so far with cops...i just vht'd the third brake light yesterday so no pics yet...

VHT and clear. Needs to be wetsanded, recleared, and buffed tho. Little less brightness at night but nothing to big. No cop probs so far.
