Had an idea..

So about a year ago I did my interior project where I painted everything. I made the center console red. Well, I thought about painting it black. So, I did a photo edit... what do you think of this... should I make it gloss black or leave it red?

The door inserts and defroster will stay red.

I really don't like the red on the console, not even a little. To get brutally honest, I think it makes the car look like one of the cheap Kragen-parts ricer Hondas

I say definitely go to black! Much cleaner appearance, even with the red door and defroster inserts.

try black, It will be new and you can always go back. (its untrue what they say)

Ya, been thinking about that. See, I painted the ENITRE dash so I did not want everything to be black and look like every other black interior so I made some red. I think making the center black will make it look cleaner, but I do plan on leaving atleast the doors red.

I will probally try it when it warms up some. Need to buy some black paint anyways.

I say red. If it were black it would be too much black.

I liek the red but i do think its too much red. Ofcourse ive alwys been a fan of all black when it comes to vehicles inside and out!

I will probally try to do this sometime this week or this weekend. I also like the idea of Gloss Black in the center over the red. Plus it will give me a chance to get it really glossy.

Learned alot of sanding and painting since I did that project.

+1 i dont like the window or the center parts painted it just screams honda to me. Well i think maybe silver but white blue red..its too much

I agree, to much red is ricer... but I don't want all black because then it will look like every other stock black interior. I want people to be able to notice its a completely custom interior.

I am going to make the center consol and the small defroster inserts gloss black... leaving the door inserts and upper defroster insert red.

I think it would look better with the console matte black and the plastic around the shifter red. Where it shows P, N, D, etc. make that red.

It will still give it that custom look, but will only be a subtle add on. The console is just a little too much red in my opinion.

I actually like it how it is. Very unique and looks nice with your red door frames.

This is an interesting idea, someone needs to photoshop it. I imagined it on the picture and i think i might like it.

What about this idea:

Only prob with both of thoese ideas is the taping... would be a PITA to tape off.

you could get a red paint pen to do the horse on your steering wheel
