Thats right I saw a 2005 mustang Cobra. LOL- no lie!!! This guy pulled up next to me in a 2005 GT Convertible with Cobra emblems and Cobra gas cap in rear. I guess he can fool some people as long as that someone doesnt know the slightest thing about mustangs.

So when in the Baltimore area look out for the SVT FORD Production One- off 2005 cobra convertible. LOL

Body kits are exceptable...I wouldn't have laughed it looked liked a Cobra but really-Emblems? Why not go all the way and put Lamborghini emblems on the car...LOL

where im from, if someone goes as far as puttin cobra emblems on their gt, those cobra emblems get pulled off in the middle of the night, I havent done it but I watched one time, it was kindof messed up but kindof funny at the same time

You can supercharge a GT but it is still a GT- not a Cobra...

and twin turbo and smoke the cobras so it doesnt matter...you can easily put the motor and emblems on a gt and its basically a cobra just not from the factory...its homemade..

But seriosly...You have to have a Cobra engine to have a Cobra... they are hand built and are personally signed by the two men assigned to build your engine the signed plate also contains registry numbers. Underlined in green are the two men that built my engine. If you have a cobra engine then you have a cobra car or that car was totaled. There is no after market cobra engine. unless billy bob builds it and then it isnt a SPECIAL VEHICLE TEAM Cobra... it is billy bobs mustang with a mock cobra engine.

Who cares? What ass goes up to every one they meet and asks them to pop the hood? I saw a "05 Cobra" in '05 before the Cobra was even released. He had everything right too, except he put the Cobra emblem in the middle of the grill instead of the right side. If you can afford it and you like the look go for it. There will always be haters and not everyone is dumb enough to pay the over inflated prices for the '07 Cobra.

this is what a supercharged 99-04 mustang is if it is not an svt Cobra. just that a 4.6 supercharged. If you love mustangs and mustang heritage then dont claim a car to be what its not- my car is a 2003 Cobra...I can put a shelby engine it it but it wont be a shelby...

Most people probably have a pretty awesome mustang regardless what the logo says...do as you will engine and body wise...I dont care. And copy the cobra anyway you wish. I love customization. Just remember its not a SVT Cobra

I bought my car because I ike it (Plus the new Camaros aren't out yet) and if I decided to make it into Cobra look alike, emblems and all, that's my business. Nobody likes a hater.

I guess you would be an ass if you walked up to a 2005 "Cobra" and ask the guy to pop the hood. You would have to be a really dumb ass since you didn't realize they were never made in 2005 begin with. I gotcha there and that was a great quote.

I rely on the magic rearview mirror in my Cobra. Thats something else only issued by the SVT team. If that 2005 Cobra dissapears in my mirror then I know it wasnt a 2005 Cobra...LOL

I would never touch someone elses car. Plus I will help the clone owner kick the ass of those who touched his car. That was bullshit I agree. And for the bitching I think that was just you...mmmm.

I do like mustang heritage and I owned a 2001GT and a 2002GT so its not like I look down on every car thats not a cobra.

You make me laugh Zoo. Read my quote again. It says, "before the Cobra was even released. I know it was released in '07. As for the magic mirror, not much I cans say about that. An SVT is what it is.

I read the page you put up. OK I glanced at it. Still, if Camaros didn't turn ugly with thier last couple models, and if they weren't so damn expensive, I would own one now. A mustang was in my price range and it fills my adrenaline requirements. Besides I miss the old arguements between me and one of my best friends who is a die hard Ford man. LOL

I loved the camaro in the 60's and 70's but hated it there after...but now I must admit I like the new camaro. It is a very hot car! I think it utilized the retro look without being too much like the past. I would even consider owning one. I dont beleive I would trade my mustang. not at this time anyway...its a personal attachment. I just hope they dont put that challenger concept on the road. It looks like they took the old 70 and rounded off the corners...its not its own design.
