Help with HID Headlights from Ebay

Well, i think i made a mistake and off the spur of the moment bought some $20 headlights from ebay... 8500K BLUE 9007 XENON HID HEADLIGHTS 94-04 FORD MUSTANG...After i made the bid, i did some more research and it seems that these might not be the best idea.

it says its legal, works right out of the box no hassle...but from what i've read you lose high beams. Also, from reading other peoples threads, everyone who bought the more expensive lights seemed to be more satisfied.

Well my question to anyone that can help me is...what exactly will happen if i put these lights on my stang...will it look good? will i have high beams still? does it do everything it says?

thanks for any help.

I am not paying for the item and i think ebay is putting a negative mark against my account...but i dont wanna pay for it if its a piece of shit.

Theres probably nothing wrong with the lights you bought they're just not real HID's. They're just standard halogens like the silvania silverstars, or the cheap cool blue ones that you could buy at an advance auto parts.

As far as losing high beams since it is not a real HID kit or HID bulbs you will not lose your high beams. As long as the lights arent too blue lookin from the coating on the bulb itself it will probably be legal. now that being said if you dont want to get a real HID kit just pick up a set of silvania silverstars and you should see a little bit of improvement. There is no comparison to real HID's though.
