Replacing Fender Badges
So I'm going to replace my fender badges. I'll admit, I'm proud of my little V6 and I hate when people think it's a GT. I know a cutout bumper and dual exhaust makes it easy for the uneducated to think it's a GT, but now I think I'm going to badge it very visibly as a sixxer (it's already got tri-bar running ponies on the fenders, not GTs). So I've been looking at some V6 and 3.8 emblems but I've seen most of them before and some I think would just look terrible on the car. I considered doing the "3.8 High Performance" on the back but I wouldn't call my car high performance. When I'm done with it, it won't even be full bolt on. Just enough to make it stand out from most sixxers. So I found these:
![]() I've never seen them on a sixxer before so I've taken a liking to them. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? |

Yeah I think that pic is actually on an Escape. LMR sells them though so I'll probably get the badges through them. I just wish they didn't have the $14.99 flat rate shipping. It was great for my clutch but not for the badges

I only see one listing for them on ebay and they come out to be $15.00 shipped each. At that point I'd go with LMR because I've done business with them and know they sell quality products.

or call a couple local salvage yards, see if they have 2 escapes, you will probably get them for like $5.

I'll get pics of them up as soon as the snow is gone for the year. I got the Sumitomo high performance tires on them and with the way the snow has been, I don't want to bother putting them on then having to take them right back off (plus all the salt would be hell on them). For now I just have pics in my garage of them looking lonely in my real garage

I don't think those badgdes will cover up the 1/2" hole that is in your fender behind your stockers, with it having the holes in the six. Just something to think about. But you might not even be able to notice the hole showing through anyways

just fill the holes with some filler, use some touch up paint to cover it and it should be fine until you get your car painted.

I might not even need touch up paint if I get a filler that's light in color. I don't imagine the spots would be all that noticeable with the badges over them.
