Replacing Fender Badges

So I'm going to replace my fender badges. I'll admit, I'm proud of my little V6 and I hate when people think it's a GT. I know a cutout bumper and dual exhaust makes it easy for the uneducated to think it's a GT, but now I think I'm going to badge it very visibly as a sixxer (it's already got tri-bar running ponies on the fenders, not GTs). So I've been looking at some V6 and 3.8 emblems but I've seen most of them before and some I think would just look terrible on the car. I considered doing the "3.8 High Performance" on the back but I wouldn't call my car high performance. When I'm done with it, it won't even be full bolt on. Just enough to make it stand out from most sixxers. So I found these:

I've never seen them on a sixxer before so I've taken a liking to them. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Yeah I think that pic is actually on an Escape. LMR sells them though so I'll probably get the badges through them. I just wish they didn't have the $14.99 flat rate shipping. It was great for my clutch but not for the badges

I only see one listing for them on ebay and they come out to be $15.00 shipped each. At that point I'd go with LMR because I've done business with them and know they sell quality products.

or call a couple local salvage yards, see if they have 2 escapes, you will probably get them for like $5.

Mustang Parts and Accessories
The 3.8s do look good, I just like things that very few others have. I was choosing wheels a few weeks ago and I was torn between Saleens and 2010 GT Premiums. Liked them both equally but I went with the premiums because I've only ever seen them on 1 or 2 other New Edges around here.

I'll have to try both of those. Considering it's winter, I'm sure there have been plenty of idiots who got cocky in their SUVs (specifically their Escapes) and what's left is sitting in a junk yard If that fails I'll have to see what the dealership can do for me.

I'll get pics of them up as soon as the snow is gone for the year. I got the Sumitomo high performance tires on them and with the way the snow has been, I don't want to bother putting them on then having to take them right back off (plus all the salt would be hell on them). For now I just have pics in my garage of them looking lonely in my real garage

I don't think those badgdes will cover up the 1/2" hole that is in your fender behind your stockers, with it having the holes in the six. Just something to think about. But you might not even be able to notice the hole showing through anyways

Ah dammit. I forgot Ford couldn't just slap an emblem on and call it good. They have to drill holes for everything. I guess if it covers it alright for the time being then it'll be ok. I'll just have the holes filled when I get the car repainted.

just fill the holes with some filler, use some touch up paint to cover it and it should be fine until you get your car painted.

I might not even need touch up paint if I get a filler that's light in color. I don't imagine the spots would be all that noticeable with the badges over them.
