How to remove side vents with honey comb inserts?

I noticed that in the right light the paint on the side vents of the car do not match the paint on the body...I know it is not a big deal but I would like to get them off to paint them.

Need to know if the rear seat and interior pannel has to be removed to loosen any screws that may be holding the vent on? or how to go about getting them off?

Thanks in advance.

they do pop off but they normally break when you take them off.

if you really want to change them buy now ones and paint them before you put them on

Ok thats good to know, thanks for the info. I might even consider spraying them on the car, just mask off the area around them and cover the whole car with plastic. Or if I can find a set like the 2001 GT's have then I will paint them and swap them out. Thanks again.

Before you do all that, try buffing them. When I got hit by an 18 wheeler the entire passanger side of my car was fixed up to the door. They took the side scoop off when they worked on the car. After buffing that entire side they put the scoop back on, and forgot to buff that too. I took the car back the next day because I thought the scoop needed to be repainted. All they did was buff it and it matched with the rest of the side. That may be all you need top.
