Rubber to bumper bonding?

Doing some experiments with the rear bumper trim. Whats a good glue to use to bond rubber to the material? Is it fiberglass?

Rear bumper trim??

Your bumper is made of urethane, but if you attach something to it with adhesive, you are putting it on the paint, so it isnt really important what the actual bumper is made of.

i would recomend using 3m and only 3m double sided tape. ALL of the other brands i have tried have always failed big time. Also you might consider some adhesive promoter, just as extra insurance for it not coming off. Rubbing alcohol will work to clean the surfaces, but not as good as adhesive promoter. And make sure you use ample pressure pressing the piece on. That tape is kinda pressure activated in a way.
