Not a fan of the diamond plate. If you don't like your thin bunched up floor mats, may I suggest trying some Lloyd mats. Much thicker and nicer than other floor mats.

Yeah I looked at those a while back, it's just the cleaning part that's keeping me from getting something like that. I don't mind cleaning my car one bit but the floor mats/carpet piss me off. I clean it with the rest of the interior and within a day it's filthy while the rest of the car is still nice and pretty. I guess my biggest reason for liking the diamond plate is that they look so easy to just wipe down when they get dirty whereas carpet style floor mats would need vacuuming and such.

I always liked diamond plate floor mats. I plan, one day, to get me some black ones.

its just one of those personal preference type issues ... I guess I would look at the over all plan you have for the interior of your car ... I'd probably get them cause those floor mats do get nasty real quick

Well then, I'll get them. But only 'cause you're the guy who cares the most about how absolutely perfect his car looks

Haha yeah my stock mats look like hell. I've only taken them out of the car to shake them off a few times this winter. I don't think they're worth trying to clean, especially since my vacuum sucks and as you said, they get nasty really quick.

Yeah kinda personal preference, depends on overall look of your car and accessories and such. In my car for example I think they would look hideous, I have the running pony logo on my front mats, which is carried to the fender emblems and wheels and all. I think the black paint and logo idea would help their cause.

And about being OCD about cleanliness...I've been looking for the Pumas with the extended heels, aka driving shoes, only ones I saw were Honda Racing = no go. Anyone have online link to those shoes. Cuz I have CDO, real similar to OCD just with the letters in order.

I've got two pairs of puma driving shoes (only shoes allowed in the car in driver's seat), but my camera doesn't work b/c the battery is dead and I've lost the charger.
