Diamond Plate Floor Mats?

Just curious what you guys think of these. I'm basically looking to replace my shitty stock floor mats that tend to bunch up like crazy and are hard to get clean. These obviously won't bunch up and they look like you could just wipe them down without much hassle. Maybe accent them with a few billet accessories (already have bullitt pedals)?

Idk id have to see them in a car to decide. Just something about diamond plate screams truck to me. So im not sure if they would really look good in a mustang. But if you like them I say get them. They wont look horrible or anything, ya know

Not bad, I think they would look better with the anodized black. They wouldnt scream at you as much being black, kinda blend in a little better.

Good point. I might contact that guy and see if he'll do the pony logo on the black.

Wait i have a better idea, just get the normal aluminum ones. Scuff them up really good with some red scotchbrite. Get a mustang sticker, put it on the mats, then paint them black. Then when you peel the sticker off, youll be left with a black mat with a brushed aluminum logo

Sry for the crappy pic, but here's my floor mats.

I only got them b/c they are durable as hell, plus they are easy to clean, just wipe down and you're done. Well atleast for me they are but that is mainly b/c anytime I get in the car I sit down remove my regular shoes before bringing my feet into the car. I then put on my driving shoes, and place my regular shoes on the floor on the passenger side in a shoebox with the top removed and a plastic bag as a liner. as I don't want wet nasty shoes getting shit all over my car. So my regular shoes aren't ever in contact with the car and my driving shoes never leave the floor in front of the driver's seat. OCD much? maybe but hey it keeps it clean so I'm sticking with it Lol

That's a great idea! Unlike you I only have access to rattle cans. You think that would hold up to daily driving? (I'd clear coat the hell out of it of course )

Then i would suggest putting a strip of clearshield on the mat where your foot will be rubbing it. That way the paint wont rub off.

I have diamond plated mats. I got them because they were cheap, durable, and easy to maintain. My carpet mats kept getting dirty and I got sick of it. So instead I found a guy to custom cut a set for me for $20. They fit pretty well, and all I have to do when they get dirty is take them out and hose them off. They are a bit cold though, which is a drawback in the wintertime. Before the heat kicks in, your feet will be cold. But in the summer, I imagine that they would do a good job of keeping your feet cool... which is nice when its 100 degrees outside.

They can wear their shoes in the car. I don't mind that. I just like to have dry shoes when I drive and I don't want water or anything else I might step in getting on my pedals or to cause me and issues. For instance if I step in oil in the parking lot and didn't change shoes. I would have oil on my metal floor mats. That might be a bit slippery, which would be bad for driving considering I have to use three pedals. Last thing I need is to have to be worrying about it being slippery, especially how these idiots drive around here. Not to mention it's winter here and Evansville does nothing to clear the roads.
I don't think I'm all that OCD I just have enough problems with my car and would like to keep them to a minimum.
But I do keep the stations on my radio in order from lowest to highest, b/c I like to be able to know what station I'm on without looking. Oh and the volume is typically on even numbers lol (16 is most common).

My feet never get cold when I'm in the car but then again I wear shoes so I would imagine that might cut back on the cold a bit. Even if they did get cold I would not attribute it to the diamond plate floor mats.
