As long as you install it in warm weather you will be fine. prep the area well, apply a lot of force to get a good bond, and you'll be good to go!

Used 3M for my side scoops here in South Florida last week when it was in the 40s. Go to a mall that has a covered car garage, or if you have a garage at your home.

almost all automotive mouldings are held on with 3m tape. As long as the mounting surface is clean you will have not problems. I actually broke a set of vent visors for my truck trying to take them off. the plastic broke before the tape would let go

I did a lot of research on this VHB tape. Conversed with a couple of guys at 3M. The stuff is fantastic. They use it to hold windows on the sides of buildings and shit. They once put a semi's body panels together using this stuff and it held up better than the riveted body panels. It's been tested in some ridiculus temps and conditions. Proper prep and the required 15-17 psi pressure is needed for the acrylic bond to form. I put some side scoops on with it and they are solid as a rock. You couldn't pull them off without a pry bar and they have been subjected to numerous high speed runs in the desert and 120*+ days here in Vegas.
