Im running into a problem with my cars driver door. When I bought the car, there was some rubbing on the front bottom corner. it was actually digging into the cars side skirt. I had it fixed by a friend who put the door on a jack, and re-adjusted the door to sit higher. The problem is, the body lines line up now and it LOOKS like its suppose to be where it is but the window now hits the top plastic trim when I shut the door. If I roll down the window 1/8" theres clearance. How I can get around this? I dont want to just lean on the door some to bring it back down.... do I?

If the door is sitting where it's supposed to be, then the window might be off it's track, which I've heard is fairly common in our cars.

if you have pw you can take off the door panel and there is a track the window slides on, it has a stop on it that will not allow the window to fall out of its track, you can take the stop and remount it on the track to where it stop where you want it. it will take a lil time and patience.

if your bodylines and door gaps are all correct, then check the window next.

that happened on my car too cracked my side skirt ... but thankfully that car is sold so and so far I haven't had to do any pain in the ass tedious things to my current stang
