Gentleman and ladies who own a 2005-2009 Stands

The rear faux gas cap trunk hatch badge. It has 2 keeps on the back. Mounting inserts that go into the trunk for the pegs on the emblem to insert in for security.

Does anyone know what size those mounting inserts are so I can drill holes to pop them into?

A mod or admin can lock this. 29/64ths. I now have a 2008 rear keyhole emblem on a 2000 NewEdge. Another step closer ...

I have it in the rear window behind the driver's side. In the picture its in the rear center but Id didnt liek that. Im going to customize my holder to it looks less ghetto. Or I might get that 05-09 front retractable plate hold, weld on a bar and mount that on the rear. Wont be that hard and wont cost more then $20

That actually looks really good. Just gotta do something about the old mounting points for the license plate holder and that would look even better.

Yup! theres a guy with a fiberglass shop in my hometown who's going to make me carbon fiber inserts for the large indents and the license plate inserts. I just need to get them painted gloss black.

The only downside is there are 2 keeps on the emblem and the emblem itself has a very slight bend for the 05-09 curve in the rear deck. You can fix this by using an old credit card, cutting it to fit in the gaps and putting it in.
