Use something to make a template, transfer template to wood. cut wood. put carpet over wood, secure wood/carpet to car. viola you're finished.

or spend 120 bucks and have one already. I just dont like the look of them. I would probably make one, then have it upholstered. I would want to make it sit flush with what is left of the seat.

I have had my rear seat out for a good coupled years now. Orginaly i pulled it out to put my custom RSD in, but after about a little while i got tired of it, and came up with my new idea to make my seat delete that i think will be a really niced looking peice. So i pulled the first one i made out, and it has just been no back seat for about a year now, and i like it. Its totaly different than the first one i made, and ive actually never seen one made like this before either.

I actually like how my car looks a little "gutted" imo. I have about a 50/50 reaction over how they feel with a gutted rear half(no trunk interior either, non at all). They either think it looks tacky or they love it. Luckely im in the latter. Most old guys i meet, love the gutted look, lol But once i finish my seat delete the back seat area will just be one smooth full piece that is kinda hard to explain.

Anyways sorry to the op for rambling off topic, lol. I just have habit of talking and talking , lol

lol, i theres alot i dont know. Its just that i have a natural tendency to learning painting theory. And alot of good paint job is know theory. Knowing what exactly you have to do to get consistant resluts, knowing how to fix problems in the middle of a paintjob, etc....
So between picking up my first paint gun at fifteen, had one of the most amazing paint instrucor at college that taught me so much of what i know, paintn oil rigs for two years and painting production vehicles, and show vehicle quality jobs for the last 8 years ive just picked up a thing or two lol

But yeah, i like to think i know a little about painting and custom work, but im in no means a god.

But thank you for the compliment

Rear seats: under the front of the seat bottoms theres two little white tabs you depress, then lift that right out. then fold the seats down, remove the 3 bolts holding the headrest in, then 4 bolts at the corners of the seatback frame. then that just comes right out.

If you don't make a rear seat delete, it looks something like this, minus the board covering the hole to the trunk. So if you're just taking them out to lose weight, then there really isn't a point to the seat delete. But if you have other goals, then yes.

But build your own

Thanks man, for making your own delet kit would you put a board or something over the impressions that are under the seat.
