Cobra vs cobra r

I got into wreak not my fault and the front bumper needs to be reprace well I really like the cobra r bumper But I wanted some input on it of how low sits on stock suspention. I don't care about weight because I already have over 300lbs in the trunk. I also like the original cobra bumper and I'm stuck here with what to pick I need to make up my mind by tomorrow
thanks guys. The car is 99 and it's red

On stock suspension you will be fine. Mine is lowered about 1.5 - 1.75 inches.
Where are you? I'd sell you mine if you were in Florida.

I personally wouldnt run a Cobra R....Well...Anything. I like the Roush Stage 3 front bumper, but they're pretty expensive.

I'm going to agree on the Roush Stage 3 unless you're set on a Cobra bumper. In that case, go with a normal Cobra bumper. I feel the same way about Cobra R being reserved for real Cobra R's.

Yea, Cobra R parts should be ran by Cobra R's only...I don't know why, but when I see people with say, a Cobra R body kit even if it's on a Cobra, it just feels like they're trying to make it into something it's not. Kinda like the people with GTs making it into a Cobra...You have what you have, nothing more nothing less.

Sorry, probably to late now...
Mine is Cervini.

Only reason I got it was that my stock bumper got damaged, and I bought this one from a local guy for CHEAP.

I hear what everyone is saying... cobra r belongs on a cobra r. But I always loved the look, I do road course my car often, so I feel it works in my case.

But I would just go for the stock cobra bumper, imho.
