Aftermarket Headlights

Tell me about them. What do you have? What do you want? What is good? What should I stay away from? If you have them, are you happy? Where did you get them and how much did you pay?

A set of OEM are going to cost me north of $200 from Tousley Ford. If I'm going to pay that much, I might go ahead and do aftermarket. Just not sure yet.

I used to have the smoked ones from American Muscle, with the clear corners. They looked amazing. The only thing I would sudgest is put a tiny bit of rtv or something of that sort around the edge to prevent moister from getting in.

I bought my pair from ebay. They have been good but as with the ones from AM make sure you run silicon around them to make certain they are sealed. Also, you can usually find two types on ebay. Cheap and really cheap. I ended up with the really cheap ones and they do not focus the beam as well as the stock ones did. What you will need to look for is the reflective background and how intricate it looks or how many reflective surfaces. Ill see if I cant find a few examples for you.

For Example:

Compare the background on this one

to this one
