Re-painting

I just bought an '01 Yellow mustang and there are a few paint problems. My right door and right rear fender are a slightly different yellow than the rest of the car (not noticeable unless you look really closely) and both have the clear coat peeling off in places. Should I have them re-painted (and what would that cost) or is there a way to have the clear coat redone?

You might just have to take it to a shop and have the clear coat re touched and then get it detailed. With the entire car waxed and buffed they may blend more. When my car was hit by a truck after they fixed that side, the side scoops didn't match because they buffed that entire side, but forgot to do the scoops because they had taken them off. Once they buffed the scoops they matched the rest of that side. A high speed buffer makes a big difference. Was your car ever in an accident before you owned it? I'd get a carfax report if I were you.

That's true. They don't give put wring information, they just don't always have all the information. They are being sued for it, but some information is better than no information.
