with a baby on the way im trying to save as much money as i can, but of course i still gotta take care of my other baby. im in desperate need of headlights and i love how the smoked headlights look. BUT...damn lights are about 200 bucks (from am), so i was wondering, i know i can get stock headlights pretty cheap, as for the smoked look, i was thinking about getting some headlight tint off ebay. any opinions? (i hear the tail light tint off ebay holds pretty good, how about the headlight?)

i got my smoked head lights off ebay for like 100 bucks. your gonna need some hids tho

yea. thats another reason why im tryin to save some cash. bc i know i need to get some of those too lol. how have your ebay lights held up...any problems?

i actually found these lights for pretty cheap...what do yall think...

Those are super dark..... Almost too dark for my taste... I'd try something reversable to start with. I wish everyone was in good with a bodyshop... They could smoke your lights pretty cheap... I would guess for less than $50.00 ? Might be worth asking around.

nope...just grab a 3m restore kit for $20 and make them crystal again

just smoke ur stock ones as long u use candy black u wont need any HID ur lights will be black as *ell during the day but at night they will be bring jsut like u dont even have any smoke on then cuz candy is transparent thats how mine tail and my headlights r

i have the tails done now i have to go to the paint store and get more paint for my headlights so as soon i get that done i will post them all together

tushay. you know after looking around i might go this route after all. i think i found a small little "how to" from z, i just hope it works with headlights. (the write up was about fogs)
and yes that does look very seductive. if i end up vht-ing my lights itll be bc of you man lol

just keep the tint light...i've had to sand mine down a bit because it made my 5k HIDs look like standard bulbs from the drivers point of view...to be honest go a coat at a time and see what you think at night...you can never be too sure

There is a guy near me that has 3 pairs for head lights forsale 20 buck a pair. the are the 99 and 2000 headlights but if you wanna experiment on them that is what i would do until you baby is born.

my bad on the late response but i forgot to check the thread. but my headlights are great, no problems at all. i didnt even have to seal them myself. its been raining here for like the past 5 months and theyre still good, no moisture is getting in at all. theyre the same ones from that link, but i got it from a different seller off ebay.
