I say no, not unless it's a lift off hood. Why pose? Hood slammin a cowl is much cooler.

I voted no too. If I get the hood I want it will have to be fastened with some kind of pins but Im thinkin dzus fasteners.

since you have a cowl i say no but if you had a regular hood they wood look good like my car

I was about to say yeah go for it. I like hood pins, always have.

But after reading that EVERYONE else said no BUT me....

No don't put them on.

i didnt want them on mine, but it only takes one time of going 60mph, and a semi going the other way, a gust of wind, and WOOSH, there goes your hood, cowl and windshield. and then you kick yourself in the but for not getting hood pins.

I'm with the 29% minority here who thinks if you've got a car capable of running times and speeds where excessive winds can become a safety issue, definitely get them. Seems like your car would fall into that category Steven. But that's my side of things. I think they look badass, even on such a cowled hood.

Edit: do whatcha like though. If it were me I wouldn't want to take the chance of my hood flying off half way down the track ya know?

Check the IHRA or NHRA rule book I seem to remember someting in one of them about the use of hood pins at a given speed ........
