A Cowl, I Think Thats What It's Called


i need to get a new cowl? its the part behinf the hood that the windshield wipers attach into. anyways i just noticed that its cut deeply and needs to be replaced. does anyone know where i can get one form. iv'e done some research for one but have you to come up with one. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanx!

im pretty sure your talking about a cowl vent cover and www.latemodelrestoration.com has them. part number is LRS-02228C and its $148.95

i'm pretty sure you can also get them used from Midwest Mustang

I had to replace that on my 99 and it cost me $120 from a local yard. If you call up any salvage yard in your area theyll order you a brand new one and you wont have to pay any shipping.

Yeah its a cowl panel and u can buy a brand new one from 50Resto.com for $115.95. I wouldnt suggest buyin a used one cuz theyre normally faded or water damaged.

Yep that would be what you need...I cracked mine right before I left as well...

Price went up to 155.95 on these. I have a few brand new ones for 145.00+ship if you guys still need some.
