so im planning on converting my 88 lx to cobra ground effects. Im wondering if the front bumper cover will line up to the fenders or if i will have to swap my 88 fenders to 91-93 fenders. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys

I know there were slight changes made to the front geometry between the '87-'89 cars and the '90-'93 cars, but I'm not sure if that affected the fender alignment. What I have seen for every Cobra body kit is that is says it bolts to a GT, though, not to an LX.

I would talk to whoever makes the kit you're looking at, as they're gonna be the ones to know, and the ones you should be yelling at if it doesn't fit.

so far from what ive been researching the cobra kits will line up to an lx but you just need GT trim. As of now i dont have a drivers side door and im planning on replacing the passenger side door too so when i buy my doors ill just get doors with GT trim and go from there, thanks for the post though
