i say go for it. when i got my led brake light, i went to the place and picked it up, and for whatever reason the smoked looked like ass, the clear looked better so i had em swap it. its black anyways, not like its chrome, so your not covering anything smoking it. worst case, you dont like it and you can smoke it yourself for nothing.
