After market hoods

I have an 04 mustang and want to put an after market hood on. Are fiberglass hoods a good product or should I go with aluminum?

Fiberglass are great. Just go with a reputable manufacturer. Kaenen and Cervinis are two of the best IMO. I run a Kaenen.

Whatever you like. Most Mustang owners like Cowl hoods. I do to, but I went with the Saleen s281 style hood. You rarely see it compared to 2.5" cowl hoods.

If you try to find the cheapest one you will end up getting a warped hunk of shit. You get what you pay for so you might as well invest in a good quality hood before you put paint on it.

This is the closest I could find in terms of a birds eye view of the hood. Just did a quick google search and it actually led me to this site but a different post lol.

I'm on the other side of the fence, and HATE cowl hoods. Ugly, atrocious things

(Not all of 'em, just most on Mustangs).

If you get an aftermarket hood, try to find installed examples of it. It's RARE that an aftermarket hood will have nearly as good of fitment as your stock hood; that's probably the biggest thing you're paying for with a good hood over a cheap one.

Just look in craigslist they have so many mustang parts for cheap or got to a pick a part and see if they have one over there but of course your going to need to paint it

I agree 100% with fitment. Cervinis and Kaenen are both known to have great fitment.

The funny thing is, the foglights are HIDs. They are 3k. I wanted the yellow for my fogs. Thanks for the compliment.
