powdercoating questions


Im thinking about powder-coating my stock grey bullitts black and wanted to see if there is any big things i need to worry about, how hard was it, and does it look good? also if anyone has pics post them up!

(and sorry no, i dont want to go out and spend money on new rims so if you wanna talk shit about how im cheap suck my dick. im saving money for a vortech. lol)

If you're doing it yourself, my one tip for you is to make sure the wheel is CLEAN!!! Sandblast, sand, scrub, do whatever you can think of to get that thing clean. If there is a chunk of stuff on there that won't get polarized and then the powder won't stick to it.

If you're having someone else do it just make sure to inspect it when you get it back I guess...

Understand you're trying to save cash, but just a thought

I swapped mine to black bullitts. And I was surprisingly able to get a decent amount of cash selling the stockers which offset the cost of the new ones quite a bit. There are a lot of V6ers and people with GT's who don't have the bullitts that would be interested in them.

Another advantage to keep in mind w/ getting new ones is that you can go deep dish and run some wide ass tires in the back, which looks way better than the 245-275's, IMO
