I picked up some satin black paint today. Monday I'm going to pull out the CAI and paint it satin black then possibly go for a blackout panel. Any tips on the blackout panel?

black out panel...

1. tape everything off and newspaper the body on the rear (overspray sucks)

2. take off emblem or tape it off (i reccomend the first)

3. scotchbrite the panel to give it a rough base

4. paint in light even coats with paint of choice (i used krylon camo flat black)

5. use a heat gun or hair dryer in between coats

6. remove the tape before it dries on the last coat or you'll chip the top end.

7. enjoy your hard work
