My Vinyl bubbled up all the time when it came in contact with the sun. The VHT looks much better, is easier to clean, and does not bubble.

Looks great man. Hope enough light goes through in the daytime. I need to find out how to lighten mine up a little. Cop told me they are too dark but not by much, so he didn't give me a ticket.

Does it really lighten it up? Because I still have yet to clear them. I know I can clear them whenever but does it really lighten them up?

What grit of sand paper would you recommend? Also wet sanding is just putting the piece of sand paper in water for about a half hour first right? lol, I never knew.

EDIT: I was thinking about just wet sanding then adding clear because I have yet to clear them lol.

For wetsanding to add clear after its dry, wetsand with 600 grit, clear with 2-3 coats, then once it dries wetsand with 2000grit and polish.

If you just want OTC (Over the counter) then grab some Meguire's Ultimate Compound and Meguire's Swirl X Remover. They come in 16oz black bottles at any parts store or Walmart. You want to apply them with a foam applicator pad. Make small overlapping circles with mederate pressure. It will take awhile. Use the compound first followed by the swirl remover.

Sweet, thanks man. I take it don't rinse them after either? So I am just going to wetsand, clear, wetsand, and polish lol. I don't want to lighten them up but I have to, last thing I need is to get rear ended because someone wasn't paying good enough attention, so I am just going to lighten them a very little.
