Cant decide on rims

I cant decide what rims to get i havnt really seen any that make me go "wow i want those" I have a metalic red colored 99 and would like some rims that will look really good. I am toying with the idea of getting deep dish but id like to see them on my stang somehow. I plan on running 255 fronts with 305 or 315 rears, 18" and obviously they would have to be staggered for the different size tires.

Also, as of right now (im not 100% on this) im going to be getting my calipers cleaned up and painted (havnt decided color yet) id like to be able to show them off a bit through the rims but this would be secondary to an awesome set of rims! I dont wana spend 500$ per rim obviously, so something on the cheaper side would be awesome.

Have you considered getting 4 different rims?

That could be an option if you are having a hard time deciding.

Have you gone to this website? You can try them ON your type vehicle and if nothing else, you can get an idea what type you want. Do it

yeah i've messed around with tireracks site, that thing does'nt really work that great or show you really how they look, and i havnt found a rim yet that i like there.

Well yeah but the idea was to see if there was sort of a LOOK that you could like. I know what you are going through, it took me 2 years before I finally found something I liked in an 18"...found several I LOVED in 20's but I didn't want the added expense of another new set of tires.

Have you looked all through MM gallery? We all are running different rims.

I'm guessing bullits are not what you're looking for, LOL. Plus there are so many materials to chose from..and maybe thats a good place to start: Chrome/polished/painted? That will make a difference.

Heh, yeah i wish i could narrow it down myself, im not really set on anything yet im just looking for that random wow factor. I used to own a tire store but i just cant decide what wheels to get. I have not looked through the entire gallery yet, perhaps i should wish there was a filter

"Red 99 awesome wheels" lol.. if only things were that ez maybe they would be free too

You should go with something besides the typical Bullitts, Saleen, or FR500 wheels. A few good(and affordable) wheel companies to check out are Godspeed, TSW, and Ruff Racing.

I would go with some 26" chrome dubs with a 3" lift kit

You say you have a "metallic red colored" 99. You probably have redfire metallic like me

. Here's a pic of mine with 18" anthracite FR500's. I love my wheels but really want black chrome FR500's now

. I currently have 265/35 front & 285/35 rear but want to go wider in the rear soon
