ok i know this is kinda stupid and crap but a few questons on window tint
wat % tint would look good on my car?
does any1 do legal tint or is every1s always illegal?
any1 know the price on a ticket for tint?
any1 know legal tint in wi?
is there any difference in brands or watever?
also ive seen different colors of tints like silver or watever is that legal?(probally doing black but just wondering)

Tint limits are diffrent depending on where you live. Places like Florida have really dark tint. I think the first time the cops say something about it, it is only a warning. Just say you bought it like that and didn't know. My friend bought a Ford Ranger and the tint is like almost limo tint no joke, but noone has ever said a thing to him. Cops are going to pull you over for tint. Best way to find out the limit is go to a tinting place around where you live and they can tell you. Some placed will go over the legal limit and some wont.

also, u can prolly get it as dark as ya want and most of the time cops wont mess with ya but there are some out there who will and if they get ya for for say speeding (in my case) they will get ya for that too..luckily my charges were dropped for the removal of the tint, some good ol fashion community service, and a day at driving school haha...

just make sure if you see flashing lights in your rear view roll down your windows before you come to a full stop... thats just a safty issue for them... they can't see in and don't know if you have weapons

if i were keeping it longer id do black tint.

ur pretty much right...i had 35 on my front side windows when i got the ticket for mine and i didnt even put that tint on the car and it didnt even look dark to me, but that was on my 99...on my 04 i dont have any tint and i'll tell ya i will be puttin tint on it...not sure what limits yet bc i really dont want to just get 50 on the front sides, i was thinkin round 40 at the most if not lower and on the rear and side rears i want like 30 at most

im assuming that mirror/reflective tint is illegal right or isnt it in wi?(doubt it but have to find out)
also does any1 have a picture of purple window tint on a car, every1 is telling me to do purple tint because it would look so good on my purple car

mirror tint only looks good on silver cars. if you have anything else do charcoal. 15% is what I have all the way aroud my car. You cannot reckognize faces seeing in, yet you can still see out of it at night. I've heard numorous complaints about seeing out the windows at night on 5% and 10%. I'm in fl and the legal limit for tint is 30%...anything lower and you can get a ticket. Cops 98% of the time won't pull you over for just having illegal window tint unless you know your state has strict laws. The only way they will pull you over for just tint is if you have something very illegal done to your car like tinting your entire front windshield. That is illegal in ANY state. If you don't know price already to do your whole car should cost around $125-$150. You can find people who will do it cheaper, but the more expensive people will take care of your tint for life (as long as you don't scratch it yourself) I had a few bubbles on my drivers door 4 months after my tint was installed and the guy had no problem replacing the tint on my door. I don't know what the tint laws are in wisonsin, but in NYS the tint laws are ridiculous. It's like 60% or something like that. My friends '00 GT has 5% tints on his, but there are certain towns up here he can't go through. He has magnapacks on his car which draw attention from at least 3 blocks away. The police in a few towns screw with him every time they see him. There are some cool cops that give warnings and let him go, but there are also the d*cks. I plan to get 25% on the sides and the 35% on the back. My ex-GF had 5% all the way around her Sunbird and it was like riding in a coffin. I couldn't see out at night and I hated it.

IMO i dont mind the red ex you showed, which would be purple in your case. but i do think it would attract more attention, also how many other purple mustangs would have it lol if someone wanted to find you it would always be easier haha.

im going tomorrow to get mine tinted 15% all around and it should be 110 with a life time guarentee. im in florida soo 15% is legal all around except the side window which is 28%. i think it will look better having the same tint all the way around plus the side window is where u want the darker tint anyway.
would it look good to have just a little mirror tint to it just so that it would shine back a lil but not be silver? i think the pure black with like 5% mirror would look good... ill ask the guy tomorrow

I can count three near me, but none are the same year as yours and none have purple tint.

i have only ever seen 1 in my life besides mine, but that one is because they work at a kindercare near me
