If you are never going to use the back seat, go for it. It is an easy install. There is somebody here on the board who makes them for a reasonable price. Very professional looking. Post up pics when you do the install.

If you're doing a custom job make sure that you see examples so you knnow it will look good. Otherwise it might look like shit. If you're lazy you can just buy a premade one off of a few sites, I know www.stangmods.com has one..When buying off a site ask people who bought the same kit to make sure that it is high quality and fitment was correct.

Won't removing the rear seat change your insurance rates? I know for a fact that Mustangs get breaks because they are 4 seat sports cars instead of 2.

Less money on insurance=more money under the hood!

i dont think it matters if you take them out or not, and if it does, i highly doubt your insurance agent is going to come to your house and ask you to look inside your car to see if you have taken out the back seats hahaha

even if some one hits you and there ajuster comes..... you wont get nothing cuz it will void you policy meaning your uninsured, thus the accident is automatically your fault because your driving an uninsured vehicle.

all because you took out our back seat? i didnt know it was that big of a deal, so if you did get a rear seat delete kit you would have to call your insurance agent and have them adjust your insurance rate?

i would call and at least ask.... you have to realize insurance companies will use any excuse not to pay out... and if removing your rear seat changes the class of your car and your not insured for that class they will void ur policy 100% no questions and they wont think twice cuz they keep the cash in there pocket.

here... screw the adjuster talk... even if you take out your back seat you are fine and the car is still classified as having a back seat because you still have all your safety equipment (ie seatbelts) attached and there is nothing that your insurance company can do about it.

think about it... if you were to crash and you were sitting in the back seat
(- seat) it wouldn't do any other damage to you if the seat were there in the first place. the seat doesnt hold you in your place.. the seat belt does.

true, i dont even know if the would consider it a class change..... probably not either way but my point was if the class does change and u dont notify the insurance company bye bye insurance lol
