Debadging the back

I really want to debadge the ford emblem off of my trunk but I know there is a hole underneth it. What would I have to do to fill this and make it look nice, without having the repaint the whole trunk

Remove oval, clean, buff, MAYBE polish depending on how the glue and dirt interacted with the clear coat.

Goto Home Depot, get a hole plug the same size, sand, prime, use touch up paint to match, put in hole.

Buff, wax. Done.

Nah dont really like the look. I just think a plain debadging will look cleaner. Still debating if I want to try this out
